A workshop on how small-business owners can get federal money available to them will be held March 28 at the University of Minnesota Duluth Natural Resources Research Institute.
Each year, billions of federal dollars goes to small businesses for research and development, services and products. But the process can be complicated. That’s where this workshop comes in.
The workshop is designed to help small-business owners find and pursue these federal funding opportunities from the Small Business Innovation Research program and other funding sources. The workshop will walk participants through the steps to locate, qualify and apply for federal research and development funding and grants.
The workshops will be from 8:30-11:30 a.m. March 28 at the University of Minnesota Duluth NRRI at 5013 Miller Trunk Highway in Duluth. Cost is $30.
The workshops are offered by the institute and the Procurement Technical Assistance Center. For more information or to register, call Sherri Komrosky at (612) 259-6565.
